Flyer printing is perfect to promote your business or service. Flyers are printed in all shapes and sizes and when printed in large volumes are inexpensive and widely used for direct marketing.

Here's a tip to make your printed flyers stand out from the rest.
Produce a flyer for Die Cutting. Die Cutting is when a printed flyer is cut into a shape e.g. If you have a product or service related to valentine's day you could design the printed flyer to be cut into a heart shape or an estate agent could produce a printed flyer shaped like a house etc.

Do I need to pay VAT when I print a flyer?
VAT on flyer printing is mostly 0 rated (no VAT to pay). Although you will need to pay VAT if the flyer:

- Includes an area intended to be written on such as a form or a section to be completed
  and returned.

- If the flyer can be used to gain entry to an event or premises (e.g. "free entry with this flyer")

- If your flyer can be used to gain a discount on goods or services (e.g. "10% off with this flyer")

The good folk at customs and excise are forever changing the rules, it's best to check either with your printer first or directly with customs and excise for VAT on flyer printing.
